We have had accountants do our 990 taxes to the Ohio Atorney General and the IRS and we pay the accountant to do our taxes. We pay our accountant for a 2-year audit of all our financial income and expenses since 2007 which are required by the State of Ohio Attorney General and the IRS.

Present-to-future goals:

1. To raise the $400,000.00 or less for completion -including inside & outside needs of the no-kill animal shelter!

We need fencing all-round the property and around the outside kennel areas and other areas, Stainless Steel cat cages. Plus, more cabinets and shelving racks. $120,000.00 for these things!

2025 for completion & open!

2. To raise the funding for continual operations of the shelter!

3. To be an asset to the community of Carroll County!

4. To provide monetary assistance to C.C. low-income residents in spaying & neutering of companion animals through grants or donations.

About our shelter when it is finished:

1. We will not euthanize for space.

2. We will consult with a veterinarian on animal needs & care.

3. We will hold educational programs on spaying & neutering.

4. We will provide love & care to animals which come under our care.

5. We will promote our organization for public awareness and on-going support

6. We will refer adoptable animals to other shelters & rescue groups to save more lives.

7. We will try our best to educate the general populous in animal care

8. We will hold obedience classes and socialization classes of dogs & puppies.

9. We will spay & neuter dogs, puppies, cats & kittens before adoption takes place.

10. We will vaccinate all dogs, cats, puppies and kittens in the shelter

11. We will microchip animals in the shelter before adoption.

12. We will start with volunteers

13. We will continue our efforts to acquire grant-funding & other resources for our on-going needs.

Facts on spaying & neutering:

1. You can spay & neuter a cat or dog as early as 4 months old, or 5 pounds in weight. Check with your veterinarian.

2. Neuter male dogs & cats before bad habits start-marking territory, running off, aggressiveness & more!

3. Spay females before they come into heat as the majority are "caught" at this time & produce many offspring!

4. One female cat & her offspring can produce 420,000 cats in 7 years!

5. One female dog & her offspring can produce 67,000 dogs in 7 years!

From PETCO: 'Every year in the U.S. 3-4 million homeless dogs & cats are needlessly put to death-that is one nearly every eight seconds!' For each dog or cat in an animal shelter, 100 have to be put to death to make room for more!

Spay & Neuter-Save lives!
